Jaguar Wraps Up Testing for the All-Electric I-PACE Concept

Jaguar is expected to launch its all-electric I-PACE sports car on Thursday of this week. While a production model won't be available for sale for another few months, we'll finally be able to get a much closer look at the sheet-metal and some inside features.

This week also marks the completion of Jaguar's rigorous 1,500,000 miles of testing, culminating in a snowy ride at the Jaguar Land Rover cold weather test facility in Arjeplog, Sweden.

These types of extreme-condition tests not only test the quality of the vehicle, but the strength and power of the electric powertrain and components.

Unsurprisingly, the AWD Jaguar I-PACE handles like a dream, even in -40-degree weather and the worst road conditions.

Here's what we know about the upcoming model so far:

Jaguar I-PACE Concept Fast Specs

  • Combined 400 horsepower
  • Up to combined 516 pound-feet of torque
  • Can sprint from 0 - 60 in about 4 seconds

  • Can go from zero to 80 % charge in approximately 45 minutes with a 100kW charger
